If it wasn't for some great saves by Kipper, and Chris Avery costing the Flyers a goal, the Flyers would have won this game.

Great game at the end though.

just can't believe that Prongs would do some stupid shit like that. It would have seemed the puck would have found the back of the net without the glove to the face.

Pfffft.....Richards with the stale backhander

Would the Flyers be allowed to have someone chasing Richards down from behind during the SO to simulate a short handed break away so that he may actually score one?

Anybody that thinks that Pronger was intentionally trying to wave his arm infront of Kipper to mess with him is an idiot. He was waving to Richards to direct him. His arm was in the air for like 1 second, its not like he was standing there waving his arms for a long period of time. It was a quick movement and a bullshit call.

Pronger was trying to distract Kipper, but I'm more pissed about the timing of the call. He did it a good 2 seconds before Richards shot. The ref only called it a penalty because the puck ended up in the net. If it's a penalty, it's a penalty. Call it and be done with it. Don't call it just because the puck went in the net 3 seconds later.

Refs were awful all game. Calgary had maybe 2 legit penalties today, yet the Flyers had about 7 PP.

He wasnt even facing the goalie, how was he trying to distract Kipper, if the NHL is going to get this chincy with their calls then they should just make a rule where you cant stand infront of the goalie at all anymore, whats the point if you lift your arm at all you get a penalty. Avery rule should not be in effect unless the player is standing there facing the goalie waving his arms infront of the goalie for a good period of time. How is someone lifting their arm for a second any different then a player skating across the front of the net, that would be a distraction as well, I guess we should just put up a wall around the goalie so he doesnt get distracted.

He was facing Richards, but he turned his head and was looking towards the net when he stuck his arm out.
