It really is impressive how LSU has fared with a perennially inept offense. Just enough of it shows up in the big games though. Great D and ST is generally a given.

Mr Winston, 25-27 ,527 yards passing ? It's early,I know. FSU has a QB that has an accurate arm and a great touch. Pitt forced FSU to throw,stacking the line to stop the run. Jamesis will be great.
The defense had four sacks, two picks and dropped two others. Many knock downs.Still no sacks from defensive ends.The defense needs to improve on the pass rush and the secondary was soft at times.
Pitt's QB isn't bad and if given time can throw well.However,FSU did just enough to control the game.
FSU needs to improve in all areas,especially the pass rush, and the running game. No break away speed. Green(rb) needs to play more. FSU at the moment, is missing that home run hitter.
