I saw Mars Volta with System of a Down some years back, they were good, this should be a good collaboration as Flea is an awesome bassist.

flea's not only an awesome bassist, he's also a good songwriter. classically trained.

i'll check out pretty much anything he's a part of.

he even made alanis moriwhoever's garbage sound good when he rewrote and played the bassline for that one song of hers.
