Looks like this series might start Friday, May 1st - Flames playing hockey in the month of May, that's nice.

I hope this is a good series. Calgary seems to be firing on all cylinders right now.

I have no doubt it will be good in the sense of competitive. Before the POs start, it was tough to argue there was any clear favo(ur)ites. After Round 1 (well almost), it is no more clear to me then it was earlier. CHI looks good now, but after that, no one has appeared dominant yet.

But my reluctant pick of the Ducks to win the Cup is still alive

The West seems impossible to figure out. I'm sure each time is thrilled the Kings are in the playoffs though...

I'm not putting it over Minny to take out CHI. That could be a fun series.

Not for long though.

Ducks in 5.

I was mistaken in the other thread, it's been a little over 11 years since the Flames last won in Anaheim. I wonder if we'll see top line against top line in this series.

Pretty cool...

Can see the words a bit better on this one. Hilarious.

Edit: Here are the lyrics:

Jonas Hiller in the goal
Mason Raymond
Brandon Bollig
Josh Jooris fight for the puck
Michael Ferland
Matt Stajan and
David Jones finish their checks
Derek Engellend
T.J. Brodie
Schlemko, Tyler Wotherspoon.
Coach Bob Hartley!
Like, he’s awe-some.
Jack Adams is coming soon.
Number One fans!
Filling the stands!
Proud to wear the “Flaming C”
Line the Red Mile!
We like your style.
Go C of Red yeah baby!
Goodbye Canucks!
Bring on the Ducks!
“Never Quit” till victory!
Yes it’s PLAYOFFS
Here in Calg’ry
Let’s bring home the Stanley Cup!

Might as well go best against best in my opinion, although Ducks best line is significantly better... And battle tested.

Yup, Getzlaf and Perry will be a handful, no doubt. That Ducks defense corps isn't flashy, but they are a fine group as well.

/I wonder who Beauchemin will fight now that Iggy is no longer with the Flames :D

Beauchemin is a guy I'd not want to fight. Tough SOB who can toss them.

Nenshi is not as popular as he used to be, it would be a tight race.

I hope to see plenty of this in the series (for you youngsters out there, don't read lips)
