I'm sick of the whole you can't see the puck so it's no goal debate. In this case the puck was clearly caught up in the lower part of his body and that was in the net. It's a good goal.

Once again, they waved it off at the time it happened, and in order to overrule that call, they need to clearly see it cross the line.

In a case like this you simply can't just say, "Well it looks like it would have crossed the line if we could actually see it."

That's why I would like to know if they were privy to a camera angle that the TV wasn't showing?

i even said it crossed but the ref didnt they even looked as Luongo sat there and said again it was no goal. NO WAY the NHL can make that call without clearly seeing the puck across the line and NO WAY could they see that. NO WAY.

we still probably would have lost that game but it REALLY seems like an easy way out for the NHL to give a struggling team an extra point.

FYI, Bieksa's eye is swollen shut from that fight. Will be re-evaluated tomorrow. They don't think it's a concussion, however.

Interesting game. good pace throughout.
some weird calls, some oh-so-close chances, but Cal was pretty determined
4 losses in a row, but still picking up points.

Lou's pads were completely over the line, I don't have a problem with the goal.
Congrats dash, they played well.

I think that was Ehrhoff's worst game as a Canuck. he's getting so fatigued.
that was the 3rd game in the past 4 that we've basically played with 5 d-men.

in other news, my parents come over for my mom's 70th birthday, and we polish off
a bottle of scotch and 4 bottles of wine with dinner. and my wife doesn't drink.
t'was pretty good wine though!
