Another good save by MAF after Bonino shot the clearing attempt right into the defenseman. The Pens aren't playing well, but MAF's bailing them out.

The Pens needed to get that puck down the ice, or at the very least actually cover someone when they didn't. Great pass by Hamilton, but there were two Flames uncovered on that side of the goal in good scoring areas, with three Pens standing in a line between Hamilton and Fleury.

If they rely so much on Engelland as it seems they do, they might need another blue liner or two, as well. Though they definitely have a couple good ones right now.

They have some good young dmen in the system (emphasis on young), but I like the looks of this Jokipakka kid they got from the Stars in the Kris Russell trade.

By the way, today marks Crosby's 273rd career multi-point game. That's pretty durn good.

By the way, today marks Crosby's 273rd career multi-point game. That's pretty durn good.

That and the third line have been the only two showing anything today. The Malkin unit and fourth line have both been pretty bad for the Pens.

I still hate that penalty, especially while the refs let obstruction go all over the place. There have been three obvious trips I've seen this period, two by the Flames and one by the Pens, totally ignored, but delay of game is automatic.

(I've seen more Flames trips because I'm watching on my computer while working on a PowerPoint, so I've mostly been watching when it sounds like the Pens are on the attack.)
