Fitzpatrick Gets No Love

Looks like Fitz can only throw for 1,570 more yards and 5 more TD's in the last 13 games.

That averages out to around 121 yards passing a game with .38 TD's a game.

I'm crossing my fingers.

Fitz also has 64 Fantasy points right now through 3 weeks, which is good for 9th overall in the NFL right now.

He was projected to get only 147 on the year, which is about 9 points a game.

So far through 3 games he is averaging about 21 points a game, which would equal 336 points for the season.

That's more than double his projected average.

it was actually 4-0 then against the Cardinals Trent Edwards got taken out by Adrian Wilson, JP "Zohan" Losman came in and lost us that game, Trent Edwards quickly became "Captain Checkdown" after that hit.

I'm not saying anything about how the Season is going to play out, I'm just saying that Fitz doesn't get any respect simply because he's QB from Harvard that plays on the Bills.

The projections that they gave him for the 2011 season is proof of that even though he put up decent stats last season in only 13 games.

There was fire lit alright and that fire is that the Pats have serious issues on defense and other teams will copy what the Bills did.

They have issues pressuring the QB and covering active tight ends not to mention they are vulnerable to the run even up the middle with Wilfork.

On offense they better hope to god that Welker doesn't get hurt or they will need to rely on their tight ends that will see extra coverage. Plus the Bills adjusted to the post routes the Pats TE's were running and that's how that got that huge int Brady threw.

I am not saying they suck but I am saying they are not as good as some say they are.

After 6 weeks, Fitz has 1477 yards passing with 12 TD's & 6 INT's. He also has 93 fantasy points, which puts him at 15th best in the NFL.

He only needs 934 more yards passing and 2 TD's in 10 games to reach his projected stats. So as long as he throws for more than 93.4 yards a game, and can get more than
.2 TD's a game, he should be able to to do it.

Right now he's on pace for 3900 yards passing with 32 TD's & 16 INT's.

On a poor team with shaky blocking, Fitz is a poor bet for a repeat performance. Don't be fooled by last year's cumulative stats.

Keep proving them wrong Fitz, keep proving them wrong.

He can now only throw for 672 more yards in the remaining 9 games, and he now can't throw any more TD's since he's reached his projected total.

Fitzpatrick is a back up QB. That is why he gets no love. Just add him to the long list of backup QB's Buffalo tries to make as their starter. I am so glad they were in a hurry to give him a big contract.

if you had actually seen him you would know that he's actually a true starter

right now we're struggling because our line is awful and our center is injured too
