Rainy around kickoff, with weather improving as game goes on. High of 75, but gusts of wind as high as 25-30 miles and hour. Wet ball, slippery footing possible and gusty winds.

I would not be surprised to see us turn the ball over 1 or 2 times this week. I would actually be more surprised if we didn't turn the ball over this week.

Who you got?

I've got Hill making a rookie mistake and putting the ball on the ground.

Still love the dude, but it has to happen sometime soon.

Dalton pick 6. The NFL is rigged. Believe it.

I am going with Dalton throws a pick, just not a pick 6. I also think it is possible Sanu puts one on the turf trying to get extra yards for a first down.

Locker has a cannon and is as strong a runner as there is at QB. I'd rather not be facing the Titans in an inclement weather game.

It's a good week to see how Hill handles a bigger workload

That was not a bad game. It was not like..wow, he rocks either. He was a game manager. He did fine. That INT was a combo of Andy throwing behind Gio and Gio batting it up in the air.

Gio makes a big play if Andy's on target there......that play was set up big time......and I wasn't talking about the entire game, just that play.....other than that throw I would term Dalton's game 'adequate'.

Dalton was fine..... He is what he is. We definitely didn't make the plays we should have in the passing game as they were geared toward the run. But to be fair, Dalton is normally horrible on windy days and they're offense wasn't going to beat us, so I think we were a little conservative.

He did outmaneuver that stupid defensive back who missed a good chance to get away with murder......

True. However, the line let the defenders get a little deeper in the backfield than they should have, and Dalton had to loft the ball a bit higher than he normally would have done, and with the wind, it took it a bit more. Granted, Dalton needs to find a way to make that play, but all in all, his throws were pretty well on target yesterday towards the sidelines, he did a really nice job hitting his backs and WR in stride on swing passes, he did a nice job leading his WR on slants.

All in all, a very average day for Dalton. Dalton was not required to do anything more than what he did yesterday. We played the defense, we got turnovers, we ran the ball, he made throws he had to make.

Dalton's score should have been between -0.5 and 0.0 yesterday.

Dalton pick 6. The NFL is rigged. Believe it.

The pick 6 never happened. But the NFL is definitely rigged. The title of Peter King's MMQB says it all. "The NFL needed this".

After two shitty weeks of PR, and three quarters of Seattle dominating Denver (again), all of a sudden its a tie game.

There's no way you could possibly know this.

just looked at that play as a common miscommunication between a qb and a talented sophmore rb

There's no way you could possibly know this.

From watching the play, it appeared that the rushers were in the backfield quicker than it took to set the play up and for Bernard to turn around from his fake blocking. Dalton had to loft the ball a little higher to get it over defenders, and with the wind yesterday, I could imagine that it may have played with the ball, even if slightly.

Does that mean it did? No. But the possibility is there.

It would have been better if Dalton completely F'd the throw up, because then Bernard wouldn't have slapped it straight up into the air for a Titan to pick off.

The problem is, it was only slightly off, which caused the tip, and the INT. Sometimes it is less dangerous to be way off than just barely miss a throw.

Like I said, pedestrian day for Dalton, but he did what he needed to do offensively to help us keep getting points along with the run game. Dalton, in my opinion should have graded out at around -0.5 to 0.0, because he did make some really nice throws to the sideline that should have banked him some positive points to help offset some of those negative plays.

You are just looking for a reason to bang on Dalton, and to be honest, it is getting quite boring to read t he same thing. But you are entitled to your opinion, even if it is the same every single week.

You know how in baseball they have the Mendozza line?

They ought to make negative 7 the "Freotte Line" or the "Delhome Line" for a quarterback in any given game.
