Landon Collins, TJ Clemmings, Randy Gregory, H. Kikaha, Eli Harold, and Jake Fisher. These all seem to be players we may be interested in for the second round. Oh yeah, there's still La'El Collins. Wonder how far he'll fall. Then there are other prospects like AJ Cann and Ali Marpet, who may be third round prospects.

IM almost feeling we could trade down, still pick up Chesters replacement AND a situational pass rusher. Actually have not felt this good about a draft in a very long time.

Completely agree. If we can draft Chester's replacement, we can put Krusty the Klown in our backfield and he can pick up 1,200 yards by himself.

I hope we do pick up Chester's replacement. The issue then is what we think of Lauvao. That dude blew last year. And we'll need to replace 'Steiger. Let's hope he doesn't have a falloff season like Will Montgomery did a couple of years ago.

IM kinda hoping his replacement is already on roster and we can draft for depth BEHIND a guy like Long or Moses at this point.

And es I am hoping if we DONT trade the pick at 38, Randy Gregory is still there and we take him. NOW ... I want a pass rusher. :)

It will be hard to pass up Fisher or Clemmings. I still think Scheriff is better suited at Guard. One exec said he would be a good Right Tackle but a Pro Bowl Guard.

That being said, we appear to be getting another impact player as Gregory, Harold, Collins, Strong and the 2 Tackles are there. If we trade down, I hope its not too far as there are still border line 1st round picks that would be available early. While Scheriff is an excellent start to rebuild the line, its not enough. We are off to a great start I think.

Is there any good guards available in the second round?

I think with Callahan and a move to a more power running scheme, Lava is going to get it done. I worry about Stiegers size, but kid is very smart and plays with leverage. We manage to get about 30 lbs of beef at RG and some one who doesnt do the MC Hammer spin every time a blitz comes and we could be looking at a real upgrade on the line.

Lauvao, like Chester, got blown up way too many times last year. I'm sure mild-mannered Alfred Morris cursed him under his breath many a time in 2014. Unlike Chester, Lauvao played between a Pro-Bowl tackle and a competent center. I'm willing to give him another year, but for some big burly Samoan dude, he sure didn't fit that bill.

Maybe we can land Gregory in the second and then get someone like a Cann, Marpet or even Collins in the third.

As for RB, wonder what Scot thinks about Chris Thompson?

I always thought Lauvao was a BAD fit for a purely zone blocking scheme. Im hoping we are moving away from that for the most part because we simply dont have the personnel for it aside from Trent and Stiger. We now have the size to run a power scheme. But I would not be at all upset to see us get another O-lineman or two over the next two days.

As for Gregory.... if he is there I take him. Fuck I would even be willing to loan him my shrink if he really has mental issues as they are hinting.

Gregory is depressed at times and has anxiety at others. That's me. I'm sure it's many others too. And you're right, it's not like the Redskins don't have psychologists and psychiatrists. Also, if you're not in the NFL's drug program, you only get tested for MJ once. Get clean for that and Gregory can roll blunts for the rest of the season. Pretty simple if you ask me.

Don't think Gregory is heavy enough
Ameer Abdullah is still on the board he's going to be a steal for someone

I have him as a possible target. We need a pass catching RB

I'd rather trade down in the 2nd pick up a 3rd rounder and land a beast with one of the 3rd rounders
