$27 million / 6 years + $12 million signing bonus. What's your point?

And again, Wilson's not comparable because he's actually a talented player when he's not making bonehead dangerous hits. Kadri's a 3rd or 4th line piece of crap who does little else except dirty hit. Toronto routinely overpays for overrated talent though, so it's not as though this is a break with tradition.

Yeah, it just seems so wishy-washy to me, have the cajones to assign a number of games rather than dragging it out for this long only to come up with he's suspended for the rest of the 1st round (3-5 games)

Kadri had back to back 30 goal seasons before this year despite only getting 40% zone starts. He was relegated to 3C duty this year by the arrival of some guy named John and still managed a CF% 6 points higher than Wilson.
