A B+ as the second best draft in the mock? Just missed Etta-Tawo at 7.30 (could've had him at 7.21, maybe Rivers lasts to 7.30). Still having to trade down from 2.5 to get a 3rd rounder to match reality, c'mon First Pick, get that fixed! Otherwise, these 9 picks are only slightly more than what the Rams actually have (8), and at slightly later pick locations (but of course adding comp picks will make a lot of day 3 guys get drafted earlier).

I have to admit that is a bit of a homer pick (big Syracuse fan unfortunately lol). I doubt he'll be available that late, but that again could be the homer in me. It's tough to figure out how he was so ignored at Maryland before transferring to Syracuse as a 5th year senior.

One thing I don't like about first pick is the fact they don't have any OL positions in their initial top 3 needs, so when you draft those positions first or 2nd, it affects your overall grade because you are essentially ignoring the teams top needs.
You will still get a good grade for your selection, but it affects your overall grade. They need to get their head on straight and realize the Rams whole OL is the most important need.

ALR, I like the McDermott kid from UCLA. Local boy and every time I watched him, there was little I could find wrong with him. That would be a good selection for the Rams.

I pretty much ignore those top 3 needs anyway. I try to go for best value while considering need, but not ignoring players that don't fit a top need.

Center doesn't pop up as a need until later in the draft, which I completely disagree with. OG pops up late, and I really don't think that is a need with all the options on hand, including all of those 2015 picks, Saffold, and moving GRob inside.
