Any other stars of the 1993 playoffs want a coaching job today?

Doug Gilmour (former head coach) and now GM of the Kingston Frontenacs had a pretty good run in the '93 playoffs.

Would you like the Flames to hire him dash? Do you think he'd be a candidate for the Leafs job if Wilson is let go at some point in the future?

Not too many Flames fans like 'Killer" due to how he left Calgary, but Flames GM at the time Doug Risebrough played a big part in souring that relationship. I think he would be a great fit with the Leafs if he was interested in either the head coach or GM position if they were available.

The GM didn't get along with Gilmour & the coach had issues with Brett Hull. Sorry dash, but I think the Flames underachieved a bit. I know the Oilers were good, but Calgary had the makings of something special too.

Yeah, they sure did, starting in 1990 with losing to the Kings in the first round (damn Krushelnyski and his lob wedge over Vernon).
