Wow all I can say we let go a strength who helped Kerrigan grow but we keep Morris for the secondary never fails to be let down by moronic decisions
OLB Coach Brian Baker Says He Will Not Be Brought Back Next Season - Hogs HavenKerrigan is'a'freak are u gus saying kerrigan would have sucked without baker if so what proof also what has baker done with orackpo murphey and others
well rak's play declined and murphy got 2 sacks so how good was he ? look i think baker is a great LB coach but we can overcome his loss. shoot barry is given high praise for developing the charger LBS
I'm sorry but absolutely hope we do not sign Orakpo back with him staying injured and having no pass rush moves and its being reported he didn't want to listen to what Baker had to say
show me the "proof " . we dont have to have rak back but he is a 3x pro bowler so he is valuable at the right price
OLB Coach Brian Baker Says He Will Not Be Brought Back Next Season - Hogs Haven
Baker put a heavy emphasis on teaching technique, angles, hand fighting, and forcing turnovers during training camp and throughout the year. Ryan Kerrigan consistently praised Baker's influence before, during and after the season. Kerrigan finished the best year of his career with 13.5 sacks(7th in NFL) and 5 forced fumbles(T-1st in NFL). On the other side of the ball, Brian Orakpo had a down year with several injuries, finishing with only .5 sacks and on IR. Orakpo was reportedly not as receptive to Baker's instructions. Rookie Trent Murphy replaced Orakpo and started 8 games, finishing with 2.5 sacks and 2 forced fumbles.

Andy Dalton is a Pro Bowler this year. Something in the neighborhoold of 7 QBs have backed out or are still in the playoffs so Dalton got elected. The purpose of this post is not to bash Andy Dalton. The purpose is to underscore that backed in Pro Bowl status is tossed around too much as validity that a player is worthy or better than he should be looked at.
I love Alf but he backed in. He wasn't one of the best RBs this year. Other guys were more deserving.
