Fins vs Dallas 3rd Preseason game

The Fins have 3 sacks so far. 2 by Wake & OV has a sack. The score is 6 to 3 at the half. Dallas has a very good offense but the Fins Defense is playing well vs the pass & against the run. The best positives for the offense is Moreno is getting yards after contact. He looks to be the clear #1 RB now that he's healthy. Also the Oline opened running lanes for him. L Miller has been running the ball OK. Good to see Clay back on the field. Wallace has 4 catches in the game. The Fins have more total yards than Dallas but they haven't been getting TD's. The Fins have had some drops in this game & will need to avoid turnovers better. The Fins' special teams unit has been having a bad game. They gave up some big punt returns & also gave up a blocked punt.

I really like what I'm seeing from D. Williams at RB. He battles for every possible yard. The other D. Williams had a huge catch down field. This Fins team has some good depth at skill positions. Fields is doing double duty now that PK Potter is hurt. Potter has kicked very well in place of Sturgis.

RB O. Darkwa has also played well. Moore bounced back for a TD drive & 2 pt conversion after his INT.

Nice to see the oline play well plus Moreno! It's still preseason and you will always have more errors out there.

It's true that Dallas has a bad defense but their offense is one of the best. The Fins sacked the starting QB 3 times and held them to 6 points in the first half. If not for mistakes by the Fins, the game would not have been close.

Objectively the Fins have one of the best D lines in the league, especially against the pass. I still think Dallas will have a good Oline this year & a very good offense.

Ya I was not super impressed with the offense too many ticky tack mistakes but the D looked good against a pretty good Dallas offense. It's preseason it is what it is...
