He fouled his way to get the position for that rebound. Either way, after the first pair of FTs, you make sure your butt is in his gut the second that ball leaves the shooters hand. Oregon must not have ever heard of boxing out.

Problem is that if he boxes out and catches the ball with his back turned to the basket, it's going to take a good extra second to then outlet the ball to a guard who can move down the court. At best, they get a 35-40 footer off.

Still better than not getting the chance, but it would have taken a lot of luck anyway.

Not true. They had more than enough time to get a decent look. If they grabbed the rebound off the first miss then they would have had 5 seconds. If they got the rebound from the 2nd set of missed free throws then I believe they had just about 4 seconds. More than enough time to get a solid look. Not saying they win the game but no question they would have got a decent look.

The first offensive rebound was such a joke. Bell made no effort to box out. At least on the 2nd offensive rebound, Meeks went after it. No way can you allow that 1st offensive rebound. Just terrible effort by Bell.
