-How about S Carolina finishing #4. Impressive. I dont remember a team that didnt play in a BCS bowl finishing so high.
A testament as to why more than 2 teams per conference in the new CFP/BCS is a great idea.
If we want the best teams in these games they shouldnt cap the # of teams in the CFP/BCS games.

Not sure I see it. Losses to Georgia and Tennessee. 3 nice wins, though Mizzu gets discounted for playing the back-up.
I think its OK to leave Aubie at #2. That was a great game last night. I wouldn't be upset if Michy St and Aubie were flip-flopped though either.
Stanford played a great game and dropped 7 spots.
They lost to a Big Ten team and they are not an SEC team so that is 5 spots right there. Also their 3rd loss and this is the only one to a ranked team I believe.

It's never good to lose to a team that lost to ND.![]()
Losing by 14 to a team that lost to Ole Miss and Georgia is perfectly awesome though.

Northern Illinois lost their bowl game. fail
You guys make this so hard ... they have 3 losses. You aren't going to get ranked in front of 2 loss teams, especially when one of your losses is to Utah. Stanford is right where they should be.They lost to a Big Ten team and they are not an SEC team so that is 5 spots right there. Also their 3rd loss and this is the only one to a ranked team I believe.
Yeah, because using the transitive property in evaluating teams is so helpful.![]()

Now is this evidence of Michigan State hate or Big Ten hate for the first and only time that a team loses in the national title game and doesn't drop in the rankings?
