Everyone here knows how I feel about France

We have the worst 1b defensively and offensively in all of baseball both NL and AL. 10HR's with a full season of at bats from your 1st baseman is embarassing.

Same ole' same ole tonites game:
1. base running blunders - CHECK
2. failure to drive in runs with risp - CHECK
3. Letting the other team jump out ahead - CHECK
4. Tossing up a string of goose eggs to start the 1st half of the ballgame - CHECK
5. well on their way to losing the game - CHECK
6. season slipping away quickly - CHECK

Last 10 games upon us so I'll throw this out there.

8-2 gets us the division
7-3 nets us a WC
6-4 playing with matches next to a gas station
5-5 Almost screwed and hoping one of the Rangers, Astros or Jays badly fuck up
4 or less wins is no post season and Scotty and crew better be fired.

Let's just throw this out the window since this team has been handed gift after gift and continue to fuck themselves in the ass.

Accually..meriners are in good position to win..this one and the score in not outrageous..
Yet .
Texas usually..loses..the low scoring..ones.
Going back..for about a month or.so.
So if mariners can't get..this one...

But as we have seen..all.

Back up ? What other tangible tools does he provide ?

1. pinch runner ? Hahahaha
2. Pinch hitter ? - Well I guess if you want to get on the plane early you have him hit into a inning ending double play
3. Sub any other position than 1b ( which he is far below average ) - He cannot play anywhere else of 7 player positions

Time to cut him loose and get a legit league average 1b - I'll take any turd that can hit .265-270 with 18-20HR and drive in 80+ rbi

That is league minimum / average for a starting 1st baseman

Not sure what Frances season totals are but I am positive he fails miserably being remotely close to any of those 3 stats
