I just realized that, Nebraska just opened the window for us

Stanford doesn't travel well and we have a good reputation with the Fiesta Bowl

but with our injuries we just have to hope we can beat San Diego State and Wyoming first

Correct, furd does not travel well. Only reason they got the BCS last year was they were top 4 and ended up as an auto.

Add to it the Fiesta would have some great marketing with a rematch of one of the best games ever played.

I think we have a shot, certainly over furd (but not over nebraska) but we have to take care of business first.

I'm not saying Boise shouldn't be BCS worthy....in fact I was wondering why they wouldn't be in consideration when this Husker BCS talk started....

But why wouldn't Michigan be in line to take the spot many thought the Huskers could secure?

If Michigan beats Ohio St, that puts them in the exact spot Nebraska could of been in.....a 2 loss team that wouldn't play in the B1G title game....

I realize a lot of this Fiesta bowl talk was hype of matching Nebraska vs Oklahoma, but I don't know why Michigan shouldn't be looked at as an at large BCS team.....not saying that I think Michigan is better than Boise, but they are potentially in the exact same position where everyone thought Nebraska would be a BCS team.....

At large pool is top 14 and the BCS bowls have NOTHING to do with deserving or better; it's all about the money the bowl can generate.

And yes if there is a Big10 team in the mix they would be selected over BSU. No question.

My comments are strictly if it were a choice between BSU and furd vs OU. In that case I think BSU gets the nod. But not over a big10 team.
