You mean so he could go leave two other franchises in shambles before the world demanded he retire for the 5th time? :noidea:

at least with his time with the Jets he provided some additional humor to add to the circus environment. But he should have gotten up on his tractor much sooner than he did.

I've always had mixed feeling on Favre. I thought he was somewhat over-rated. If he would have only had the mental capacity like Rodgers but he didn't. He just wasn't a mentally disciplined player. At the end of his career he refused to run to when it was given to him. I'm thankful for the good years he gave Green Bay and realize his place yet I actually wanted the Packers to trade him a year earlier as I think they could have asked a lot for him at that time. I've always liked Rodgers much more. Either way I willl cheer him, the time for booing or sneering is over.

A QB can be great without being Aaron Rodgers. There are at least 15 teams in the NFL that would love a prime Favre on their team right now.

I agree with your assessment. As a lifelong Packers fan I saw Favre for what he was worth. Many will not believe me but I believed in Rodgers very early on. I thought Favre was a wanting prima donna. He had a ton of talent but I honestly believe he had a ton of talent around him too. Favre had more complete teams than what Rodgers has had. Most of his MVP years our running back could have won the award.

I'm actually amazed at how few sub par games Rodgers has played since becoming the starter.

Favre has done great things for the franchise and I am greatful but Rodgers will always be a cut above him. There would be no way I would boo Favre when getting his number retired , that would just be lame.

Favre is undoubtedly a first ballot hall of famer.

Ah, I couldn't stand all the dragged out shit either but dude was tough as nails and got it done. Read that he was a prick to Rodgers though.

Good. He deserves it. Packer fans won't boo. They'll cry so hard years of backed up bacon grease will come out of their eyes.

hey, I love what Kurt Warner did, I think he is HOF. He was awesome. Brady has been unreal. Manning is great but I still think he like Favre is somewhat over rated. That doesn't mean he hasn't had a great career and is no brainer HOF too but I think Manning's teams were loaded too. I think a lot of qb's could lead Denver right now. They are simply stacked offensively. I agree there is more to life than Aaron Rodgers but to me he is the best in the game and that takes a lot of greats into account.

Will fans boo? Should they?

Yes, some fans will boo. There are still cardiac scars from the ugly divorce and purple betrayal. The degree of boos is proportionate to preceding good will by Favre.

If Favre continues to isolate himself in Mississippi and blindly lob empty good will grenades over the Mason-Dixon line, the boos will be strong enough to hear amongst the cheers. If Favre makes a few appearances in Wisconsin, does some autograph signing sessions, appears on local Packer shows, does a couple local endorsement commercials makes a couple Lambeau visits on gameday, etc. then the boos will be not be audible amongst the cheers or barely audible for someone searching for boos.

Should some fans boo? Again, it all depends on Favre. He's done nothing to re-endear himself to Wisconsin since the divorce. If he puts forth solid effort of good will, he won't deserve any boos. If he shows up in Wisconsin for the first time since wearing purple to receive his awards and accolades, he deserves to have dirty diapers thrown at him.

2015 is perfect because when he finally took the purple off I said thats how long it would take me to forgive him. He deserves both boos and cheers.

I have no reason to boo, I boo'd when he came back as a Viking, but I boo all Viking players. He's a player, I"m a fan those boo'ing take it way to personally. They need some perspective in their lives.

In celebration, i shall drink 16 budweisers, pop a handful of Vicodin and Viagra and take pictures of my cock dressed up in little outfits. I will then send them to 7 lucky ladies, but they will surely be intercepted by my wife.

You can do all that and beat a bear at the same time?

Then you just may make it to the Hall of Fame some day, but we'll still boo ya, you are a Bears fan.:suds:

Send those photos to the Jet's cheerleaders. They will be expecting them.
