pix said in her original post that it couldn't include your favourite team...otherwise it would be Lanny in '89 of course.

doesnt mean you cant start by saying.. well of course my fav is .... but since I cant ........

but as I said before. all can frak off until the Canucks lift it then I can say hey. I really liked when that guy won..... :)

none they can all fuck off until my team lifts it :)

This

Lanny's seemed pretty cool though, at least replays of it (I was only 3 at the time). I'll be perfectly honest, I was openly rooting against Bourque and the Avs in 2001. His winning it means nothing to me. Not even a "oh that's cool."

Lucky no one died that day.

That was so strange because they were schedules to play Boston I think and the arena was new and they said one of the Bruins said " Look at the size of that scoreboard, can you imagine if that thing ever fell down"?.

That was just a few hours before it happened.

If I remember right it was a malfunction in the lifting and lowering device.

I'm partial to the more recent cup lifts. Like this one.

Ew. I can't stand Kane. To each their own however. Just don't like him as a person. Seeing Hossa finally lift it was nice. Of all the Pens to lift it I think my favorite was Gonch and Boucher. The first and last (most likely on Gonch's side) for each, and just awesome to see them finally get there. That and Boucher was a great mentor for Letang. Did the kid wonders.
