I like the idea of playing an entire defense. the 4 DB, 3 DL, 3 LB, 1 LB/DL seemed like a good fit.


As far as the DB scoring goes, currently Safties score more than CB's, but that is mostly because of tackles. I think setting Passes Defensed for 2 points will close the gap some though.

I added two flex spots for defense. I can't set it for you to play either a 3-4 or 4-3 unless I do 11 flex spots. Then I have to monitor if a guy is playing certain spots. No thanks...

I'm also trying not to expand the roster. IMO having more starters on defense than offense you would have no choice.

Also, before we cut anyone. I also propose a "buff" to the DB points. I am about to cut Patrick Peterson who is easily a top 5 CB cause he only scores about 2 points a game on average. Something doesn't seem right about that.

I'd have to say just cut him. He doesn't make any splash plays. After adding PD for 2pts and Stuffs and TFL he still sucks (fantasy wise.) I notice guys on the waiver wire for all three IDP spots averages went up. He's a Sandcastle style guy I guess.

I will. As long as I don't cut him and then the everyone is like.... Let's give more points to DB's! That would be annoying.

You can keep him and wait and see how he does early this year. The IDP scoring is pretty much set now. One other thing I did add was for both offense and IDP to get 6 for return TDS. Last year it was just for the defense/ST. So if he returns punts he could add value. I didn't do any points for yardage and don't plan to really.
