Ya, it has been about 4 years since I have done this. I know last time I spent $15 or so for a list of ranked players from another site. If I remember right I felt ripped off because the draft had them ranked as you picked. I also remember it taking 2 rounds to figure out I was on autodraft and how to turn it off. Of course told no one at the time of this fuck up.

That's why I draft auction style on yahoo for the NFL. If you can't get the best, you damn well make sure whoever does overpaid for them.

At least you don't have the first pick. I hate the first pick, was relieved to see I didn't have it... That last pick is going to make for a frustrating wait between your first and last pick rounds though.

For the last couple of years, ESPN has had a fantasy league where you can select new players every week for the best players at the different positions. Im looking for it now but i always get dead links like this.

@SteelersPride and @TheDayMan just a thought if we are still at an uneven number. Why don't one of you two create a 14th team and stack it with low draft rated players. Call it the Bye Week Team. With 13 teams no one should have to face it more than once.

We could do that, but if we do head to head scoring someone has to explain how week 14 will work. There's only two games, four teams, that will be relaxant to us. Guys with players on those teams will have easy wins, everyone else will have a loss or draw. If we ended our season a week early, that would be lame, and really suck for the guys with players on the week 14 teams...

See, these are the things that keep me up at night... so I just went overall points scoring (whoever accumulates the most points by the end of the season is the winner. I don't think it's as exciting or engaging as head to head, but it was the only way I could figure to balance out the weird winding down college football season.

Anyway, long winded answer to why we don't need a 14th team. Maybe I'm just over thinking it... help me understand! Because creating a 'cupcake' team might be kind of fun.

I prefer total points, head-to-head in my experience is more likely to produce fluke results and if people abandon their teams it impacts the outcome a lot more.

Oh, and if I don't make it to the draft it's because I had to run to the MJ shop or because I ran to the MJ shop earlier and forgot what I was doing.

I forgot the highschool football season starts tonight and I help do the broadcast for the local team so I'm not going to be able to participate in the draft. Just let the computer pick for me it can't do any worse that I would!

I just selected for the computer to pick for me automatically and immediately so hopefully that will speed the draft up.

Should be able to draft from your phone......

Yeah, pretty sure you should be able to participate on your phone, the site seems pretty mobile friendly. There's an app too, but I don't think it will work for the draft.
