Kind of makes clear now- for years I traveled for bizness, and Denver was a big part of my territory (SW and lower MW) and could not believe all the Texas stickers, license plates etc.

I think North Dakota has so much Texas because of the oil boom going on up there. Probably a lot of Texan's relocated to work the fields.

I'm surprised at South Carolina. I thought the state would be more split.

And I can't tell if NYC is Notre Dame or Michigan.

It is. I guess Clemson folk don't use facebook.

I like the little pockets of misfits - like the Florida county in Georgia or Oklahomo(?) fans in California. It's probably the only dude in the county with a facebook acct.

Apparently beaver fans don't facebook. There are actually several teams on that list they gave colors to that either don't have any, or at least almost no representation. It's obviously not a real depiction of how many fans exist for each team for real. All it shows is the duck fans are more active in whatever gathered those stats.
