Jagr is a big risk though and Dallas has a brutal travel schedule (it's not just the miles, but the time zone changes they have to endure throughout the season). We shall see.

First Whitney, then Pyatt (they did nab Sullivan though). I thought it was tradition for the captain to go down with the ship?!?

Doan has been holding his breath for about 4 years now

What a coup for the state of hockey (on Independence Day no less) if Parise and Suter both choose Minnesota...

the more I think about it now. the more I want them to go there. The Canucks need that Division Rivalry renewed and they need the competition. The oilers if god forbid can actually find their game with that lineup and with Colorado changing their roster every season (one year it will click) and Calgary um doing what Calgary does we could have a strong division again and I will be happy to watch

be the first to let you know. Im sure Feaster has a plan but it just seems so random. Hudler was a good pick up at least

I agree. I would rather Minny come up to meet the pack with the moves
than have Detroit jump out ahead of the pack with them.

Heatley is a fucking albatross on that team for a while still, too.

I also like the Wideman pickup (yeah, the Flames overpaid for him, but it wasn't a substantial overpayment).

Here's a question - If the Wings lose out on Suter, do they maybe turn their attention to JayBo?

i like the wideman pick up as well he is a better player than last year shows. sometimes you just have to overpay

not sure he's a Detroit kind of player but with Lidstrom out and if they lose out on Suter they have to do something but I think it will be Carle first.

Oh well, please don't sign Semin. Trade for Ryan if necessary.

looks like the teams are slowly being told they are out. I actually believe suter and praise decision to come today. after that everything should fall into place in the next few days.
