I really hope the Pens 'lose' in this FA game... no Parise or Suter... I would much rather build the team via draft and trade... FAs are over-paid... perhaps, a 2 yr deal for Doan...

Why is everyone so caught up with Parise and Suter when a perfectly good Brett Lebda is free?

I would love to see Doan in black and gold. I think he'd be just below Gary Roberts in terms of fan love if he signed here.

Doan would be a fantastic fit for the Pens... however, my fear is Shero won't want to wait until the 9th to get Sid a winger... that's it upfront, he joins Sid and Dupper. Malkin has his line Sutter fills in for Staal on the 3rd, Glass joins Vitale and Adams on the 4th.

The Pens still have to move at least one following: Martin (prob. not), Lovejoy (prob), Depres (if a big deal), Sneep, Burtuzzo, or Strait. Hate to lose these guys to waivers. Rather than signing a defenseman, I would rather try these inexperienced guys out, if they don't work out, trade, but please avoid 12 yr contracts for any UFA.

Awaz, are you really a Bucs fan? Reason I ask is because some folks on SportsHoopla don't always display their three favorites as legitimate teams' they root for..

i'd call myself an infant fan.. walker graduated HS with my brother (3 years ahead of me).. so our town really started getting behind them last summer

i follow their scores on scorecenter every night, but watching them as an out-of-towner, especially while i was in cali, is/was tricky

If the Yotes are presented with money issues, a couple of those depth guys who be used to target Yandle. I would love that.

Your brother went to Pine Richland? I assume you mean Neil Walker. Anyway, I have access to a stream basically every game for $5 a month/$1 a game.

@jessespector: Hearing that Parise has decided to sign the credit card slip for his lunch bill. Suter still leaning toward paying cash.

and 18 GM's rush to cover the tab.
Chuck Wang shows up with a 3rd-party out-of-state cheque for less than the lunch bill.

Not saying teams dont change their minds and bounce back, but as of now Panthers no longer interested in Luongo.

@DarrenDreger
@Eklund. Sorry pal. Just talked to Dale Tallon and he says nothing has changed. Still talking with Van. Nothing imminent. High price.

Hahah, man he's trolling hard!

@wyshynski @Eklund. Not intentional, but, certain topics fall into our wheelhouse. No disrespect meant.

Dreger pussied out by that last statement.
