Scherff if he really wants to be here better agree to a long term deal to free up space or he can take his ass on down the road

He and his agent have all the bargaining power. When you tag someone twice, the team has already missed its window to a market or below market deal b/c now the player has the all the leverage. The player will rightly demand to have at least 2 years' worth of tag amounts to be guaranteed and a top of the market 3 year total payout or else it is to the player's advantage to play out the 2nd tag and hit FA. You'd think the Skins would've learned that from the Cousins debacle. The issue becomes whether the FO wants to pay tag amounts that are pegged to the OT market for a OG, even one as admittedly as good as Scherff (top 2 or 3 at his position).

He's a converted OG, and i think he'll always run with that in negotiations.
He wants OT money because he is an OT.
A great one at that, it just doesn't look good on the eyes, when it comes to what he's making

"B/c he is an OT". Are you saying that Sherff is an OT or are you talking about someone else?

Apologies, originally was an OT. Drafted as one, didn't work well, immediately converted as all expected

I will go back to this , 2 of the highest paid o/lineman are guards . BS is trending towards a HOF career

and I will bet ( figuratively ). That once a Ismael , Charles or dick face Martin let a. Jones , Fleming etc blow by them the country’s of the world will throw a textual temper tantrums about our pussy o/ lineman who can’t block DTS

we can draft an OG in the draft , groom him and plug him in if BS walks but we should resign him if we can

I think the bears are still trying to trade him. Edit; Nope, he’s been released.
Have his brother restructure his contract to free up cap space. He would be the icing on the cake to our FA period.

Looks like we are done with big names in FA. Boston FS should be considered. RK should be brought back on a vet deal under 3 million. I dont understand why Te's are not being brought in. The glaring holes are LB and FS. Other spots to fill are backup TE and LT. No, I dont think LT is a glaring hole.

I would like to see us sign Hooker or Boston at FS. Then draft JOK at #19 and the TE out of Penn state in the 2nd round. That my friends would be a wonderful offseason.

Figured a 1 yr deal was in the cards for JuJu. He is playing for big money next off season.
I don’t see him getting big money next season. He’s not a number one, and seems the draft is loaded with good receivers every year lately.
