Feels like Bezos and Jay at this point. Not sure if Dan would sell to Bezos, but money talks.

I dunno. I’m of the belief that This is all a con and Dan has no intention of selling Unless forced to by the other owners. From a financial standpoint, it makes no sense. sure, he stands to make $6b, but where do you invest that money that gives you this kind of return With little risk? No where.

I don’t see the other owners voting him out. They cant risk Dan exposing their franchise operations shenanigans. Because Dan will have no problem throwing any, and all, under the bus. I believe he is buying time, hoping to weather the storm.

we will find out , i cant be a fan of this team if he continues to be owner . i have said i will give the team time to earn my fandom and i mean that . if he turns out to still being the owner then its time to watch football through a new lens

I couldn’t agree more. I was already out the door. When I heard Dan hiredcBoA, I got pulled back in. But if he stays, I’m gone for good.

the mayhem this laughable “insurrection “ is so devastating . We were so lucky to withstand the onslaught of violence inside the capitol . Those police officers were in mortal danger inside

I think it ties into whether or not he can get a new stadium. If Snyder gets some Gov or Mayor or whatever politician's approval/commitment/signature on a document he needs. Getting taxpayers to foot the bill for a new stadium. Or if he makes enough money via selling minority shares to where he can build the stadium himself and still remain the majority owner. He's not selling the team.

If he can't secure getting a new stadium being built. I think the owners will vote him out even if it means weathering a collective storm for other owners. It might take some time, but the NFL was supposed to die or at least suffer a serious injury after the Kaepernick dust-up. It took a few hits, but it rebounded fine and with the streaming services now in the mix. NFL owners are back in position to where they could damn near print their own money. Everything is set up to their advantage, The various entities vying for their business, the cap, player contracts, The ineffectiveness of the NFLPA to get players onboard n going in the same direction.

8 of the top 20 world's, that's the world's most valuable sports franchises are NFL teams with the Skins clocking in at 19. Looking that how Snyder has systematically destroyed what was once a flagship NFL franchise. Turning it into a laughingstock and you think. How is that possible? Then you look and see that 2 other completely ass backwardly run franchises, the Knicks n the Lakers are #3 n #7 respectively. The Houston Texans are tied for 23rd for cryin out loud, Whatever else one may think of this list. One of the few unanimous conclusions has to be. It's good to own an NFL franchise no matter how incompetently one runs it.

I can’t see anybody becoming a minority investor with Dan at the helm. You couldn’t trust him. I also see no one funding a stadium for him. I sure hope the other owners come to their senses and rescue us fans.

An excellent post, Breed.

Its no wonder Snyder will do anything possible to hold on to his franchise.

Printing money hand over fist…

When you saw what was paid for a basketball team you knew the price tag for a football team was going up.
