i dont think you are delusional just a bit harsh . so far nothing thats happened this year has been beyond what i thought . i said we are a 6 win team that will frustrate us . it has

They could have won, if Hopkins makes that field goal. If DJax doesn't decided he can surrender 20 yards on a punt return and carry the ball in the wrong arm and if they had covered a KO.

All that being said I don't disagree with dad. I too hoped we could beat Dallas but it didn't happen. I still see improvement in this team but more improvement is needed. We believe we will get that from SM.

I still say and think they should've won.

There was another play not made by another player as well that I think was significant. On the series that ended up with DH's mssed FG. The play before it, Jax was lined up to the right and in single coverage. After the snap, Cuz moved immediately to his right and looked to be setting up to throw for a quick second. Instead he started moving to his right again and hit Thompson with a perfect pass for a pick up of 2 yards I believe. Unfortunately it was 3rd n 7.

They showed a replay of the play focused on Jackson running his route in its entirety. He was open and a pretty easy and SOP pass from probably any starting QB in the NFL should've been a sure 6 points there.

Jon Blaze and I spoke on it in the game thread. I originally blamed KC's wienie arm, Blaze said the wienie wouldn' have come into play, but KC had no balls. OK, he really said KC was playing it safe. I said Colt had balls purposely implying that KC didn't in response to a post by Stymie asking if it was too late for Colt to come in.

Anywoo, even with all the fuck ups, inconsistencies, bad/weak play calling shoddy OL play, stupid penalties and bad/questionable calls by refs up to that point. That drive shouldn't have ended with a Hopkins missed FG. It should've ended with a Cousins to Jackson TD and the Skins up 13-3, 12-3 at the worst.

Yeah, DJax could have had a big night. The Boys were daring the Skins to beat them deep with all the pressure they were sending. I felt they could have took advantage but it looks like they tried to play it close and it ended up burning them.

While the thought of this team winning the division is laughable to some, disgusting to a lot (in media, other NFL cities), I still think winning the division is a big deal. Terrible or not. We've seen other teams make the playoffs with terrible records in bad divisions and it's appeared to spring board them into greater thing. Seattle in 2010 with a 7-9 record, Denver at 8-8 in 2011 and Carolina last year with a 7-8-1 record in recent times. They all won playoff games and have gone on to be even better since. I'd like the Skins to follow this track.

We should have won. It is the worst game our OL has played all season and it definitely affected KC. We had bone head and invisible penalties. We had one of the worst plays in NFL history and still only lost by three.

We should have won...we could have won...but we lost. We are a young, bad football team I a division fight. If I had to wager on us winning or being dead last in the division...I would wager on us winning it.

Yep & thus far there certainly has been improvement over the past few years. The O line has done relatively well especially compared to the last few seasons. The secondary certainly needs help but has several players who show promise & is improved over previous years. In spite of a few mistakes the other night the kicking game should be in great shape for years to come. The D line has a good nucleus & will be fine with a few tweaks. QB has some question marks but shows real potential.

All in all not too bad especially if you view this as year one of the rebuilding process. HTTR

i dont believe we need to go on suicide watch because we lost a game we shoulda coulda won

we are a losing team . we are /were expected to be a losing team

this year is/was a rebuilding year and you get a taste of perhaps winning a division (with a record we shouldnt even be considered having a shot with ) and you want to go in depression mode because we lose to a team who supposedly worse

perhaps matt cassels cowboys are better the the redskins they lost 5 games by 7 points or less and 2 in OT

losing teams lose games they shoulda coulda won

some of you confuse standards with expectations my standard is a winning football team that competes for titles . my expectation at this point is we arent ready

you mine for fools gold and you set yourself up for disappointment

if you thought the cowboys had no chance of beating us monday nite then you had blinders on

i said that they could and in turn they did does that mean i like it ? no but i also knew there would be days like this during the season because we are in a rebuild

this team has some issues so expecting wins vs anyone is an exercise in futility and that should have been apparent from the dolphins game
