nice to tie the game and get at least one (maybe two), but its hard for me to take great happiness when they play yet another partial hockey game. They di play pretty well in the 3rd, but I am still waiting anxiously for a 60 minute good effort.

I was amazing in the pregame how many guys said that the team just isnt battling. How can you admit that? How can you actually have that happen as a professional athlete. A bad game? Yes. Even a few bad games. But this kind of inconsistency is inexcusable to me, and the team straight up admitted it wasnt trying very hard.

so why not? the several mil a year isnt motivation enough? pride?

Sounds to me like some people need a healthy dose of fear of losing your job.
