Honestly I'm not sure Bronco fans will know much more about the team. This is a game on the road after only 3 days off. There is not much they can do in that time span to really change things up from what they did on Sunday. I think we could see the same thing happen this week of offense struggle at times while the defense plays lights out. I don't think that shows us though that the offense for the rest of the year is going to struggle and that our defense will have to win us every game. Week 3 after 10 days of working on things is where I think we can really begin to assess this team a little more. Plus that would give the OL a little more time to have shown the promise they can have this year.

This is what I love...When things go bad it is so easy to point the finger. At least this guy is taking ownership of his issues and wants to do better. I think he will be huge for Paradis and Sambrailo moving forward of teaching them how to conduct themselves and how to be master technicians at what they do.

And I agree that you should also take more responsibility for failing to post when things are busy at work or you have a two week FF draft!

We have to play Mathis - so he can get into game shape and so he can get coordinated with this line mates.
The object should be to get this Oline ready to be lethal in the 2nd half of the season and roaring entering the plahyoffs - so unless Mathis has lost it - he needs to be played.

Personally I think Mathis just beat everyone else to the punch on his play or lack of play so far. Not something commendable.More like the obvious. Never was big fan of signing and I won't be surprised if Denver has to try Garcia by week 5. Just my inclination.

This was only his 2nd real time experience since he's brand new. Right now he's improving because he(and thew whole team) looked better last night than they did against Baltimore see let's all wait until after the Lions game before we start calling for another switch-up.

And let's not forget our original O-line didn't look that great in preseason until after teams look their 1st stringers out whereas we kept Sambrallo-Garcia-Paradis in longer than Vasquez-Harris.

We were running well after everyone had their backups in including us. CJ didn't look great in pre-season and it wasn't until Hillman and Thompson were in that we started really looking good and they were going aganist backups.

This OL is going to struggle at least for the first 4-weeks of the season in my opinion. I think we will see glimpses of improvement and I do expect a big jump this week with 10 days to prepare and rest up and work together. This is like an extra Bye Week where the team gets to spend a little time evaluating themselves and seeing what they need to work on. I'm not ready to scrap this group yet and especially a player of Mathis' ability. As another said we are working to build a team for December on not for having greatness here in the beginning but not being able to function when it matters most.

Yeah I mean you don't pull a vet pro bowl OG after just 1 game and a few weeks of being on the team. That doesn't make much sense to me.
