ESPN ranks Hawks sweater at #8

The morons at ESPN have ranked the Blackhawks logo and jersey as the EIGHTH best in the NHL.

This from a network that barely even acknowledges that hockey exists.

And of course their usual East Coast bias shows through as not surprisingly numbers 1 through 7 are all Eastern Conference teams.

I swear, ESPN thinks that the USA ends just east of the Mississippi River.

Well, we'll have to be satisfied being the number 1 jersey in sales in the NHL.

It was damn nice winning the Cup in Philadelphia, and in Boston. I'm Sure ESPN really enjoyed that too.

Sorry Jeff, but any jersey list that has the Flyers in the top 5 loses credibility right there.

Their complaint is that the home red sweaters are too red and take away focus from the Indian head. Not sure what the hell they are talking about. The Indian head logo is bigger than my head. And with the crossed tomahawks on the shoulders, there's not that much red.

They love the white jerseys.

Anyways, in a couple of weeks no one will care once the season begins. Hey, I don't care even now.

Sorry Jeff, but any jersey list that has the Flyers in the top 5 loses credibility right there.

As to the Hawks, the red jerseys are meh. I have a white jersey and a black 3rd jersey from before the Winter Classic, which I like much more than the red ones.

Funny. I have a red home jersey and the Indian head crest is so large it dominates the entire front of the jersey. Can't understand why they say the crest get's lost in the red.

Oh well, I'm pretty sure the Hawks brass isn't worried about what ESPN thinks.
