Money I don't care about. The Devils are wayyyy below the cap anyways with not much players freely available. He can make $5 million on a one year deal and likely not cause cap issues this year. Its not my money going to him.

Don't want a question mark like Gomez taking up cap space when the cap drops $6 mil next year though.

I think he is still a quality player, that will positively contribute to a team.... It's just his health is an issue. Where ever he ends up, I wish him the best.
