This is about as good as I can remember this marathon being. Every game has a bit of intrigue to it for the hard core college basketball fan. College basketball has done a fantastic job with OOC match ups in recent years.

That's a pretty amazing slate to pull off from 8 AM to 3 PM. Those are some pretty big name teams and fan bases to agree to play in the middle of the day on a Tuesday.

That's exactly what I was thinking. SFA, Northern Iowa, Valpo and Rhode Island all have a chance to be NCAAT teams next year, and 3 of the 4 teams(not Northern Iowa) are all favorites in their respective conference IMO.

Georgetown vs. MD is going to be fantastic, that is a huge rivalry, that hasn't been scheduled in over 20 years. I think I'll be watching that over Kansas/Michigan State.

I agree. IMO that's the second best game of the marathon(behind Duke/UK). Having grown up in that region somewhat(South Central PA) and being like 2 hours from each school, I can't wait for this game. MD is arguably the #1 team in the country and Georgetown, at least IMO, is a top 20 team this year, much like they were last year.
