One of my all time faves. Still have his jersey hanging in my closet. Got it as a christmas present then 2 months later he was traded. I was heart broken. Unfortunately I think he identifies himself as a hurricane now.

He was great as a Flyer and as a Hurricane. He deserves to be honored by both teams IMO.

I agree. To me he'll always be a flyer, but I think he views it differently given the circumstances of his departure.

I don't think the bad blood is too thick. I went to the hurricanes game (vs flyers) where they retired his number in Carolina and both teams wore brindamour jerseys for warm-ups.

It was actually really cool. I bought the tickets before they announced the ceremony. Neat little surprise.
