So figured need a non-Patriots/Brady thread and really to me this should be even bigger news than that of Brady. This guy beat cancer and is back at Training Camp today. Even though he plays for the Chiefs I am excited to see him back playing football. To add on top of that this kid decided to get his chemo through IV which meant he could keep working out and actually came out of Chemo treatment a pound heavier than when he went in. I actually wish this kid well in this upcoming season (except during 2 games of the season of course).

They shouldn't be a distraction. To me this is huge news. This is a player that before cancer showed up last year was considered one of the best up and coming safeties in the league. He took the year off to battle cancer and not only won against cancer but is back within a year to now be getting ready for this upcoming NFL season. That is just down right impressive and Berry deserves some high praise for his hard work and bravery through all that he has gone through.

I apologize...Just getting back from vacation and hadn't scrolled to the bottom of the page to see that this was already posted. Surprised a few more are not talking about this as it does seem like one of the few non-Tom Brady threads. Maybe one of the Moderators should start another Brady/Patriot Super Thread to combine all these threads so actual non-Tom Brady threads can be found a little easier.

Like I said I apologize didn't realize there was already one. Been gone for a while so haven't got caught up on all the threads. Just thought among all the Brady SportsHoopla a thread about something good happening in the NFL was needed. Should have known somebody would already have posted about it and should have known that with the Brady news it would get drowned to the bottom of the page.
