I was responding to what's his face who refused to admit if he ends up being wrong......

I was saying, "be a man.....admit when you're wrong."

If Bo turns everything around......admit you're wrong. Don't be a chicken shit.

That's a big "IF" to be putting someone on the spot for.

I got an "IF" too.

What "IF" Bo's players or assistant coaches have to physically pull Bo off a ref by then?

What "IF"?

Well see the way I see it is this.....

If you're going to hate on him like this, then you need to be consistent about it. When he wins the B1G Championship next season, you better still hate him.

Don't be a little bitch and be a true fairweather fan.

let's start with winning the division first....:laugh3:

JJM, I can go back to 2010 here and every season you've predicted conference and national championships for the next season. It's always going to be different next year. Somebody's gonna turn on the switch in Lincoln.

Are you calling Tommie Frazier a "little bitch" and a "true fairweather fan"?

I'll take you up on that JJM, I will admit that I was wrong if Bo can lead us to conference championships consistently... AS WIN IT once every 3-4 years. Appear there at least 2-3 times out of 4 years.

However I will tell you this...we won't win a conference championship because we are the best team under Bo. We might pull out a sloppy bullshit upset in the CCG and sneak one under Bo. As long as Urban is at tOSU and Wisky is in our division. We better luck out.

He didn't say win conference championships, he said playing at championship level.

It could be argued that HWSNBN had NU playing at championship level in 2006.

He won the North Division Championship and lost 7-21 to Oklahoma in the Big XII championship.

I was at that game in KC. It was a fucking ice box.

LOL @ TomHusker for the name calling and wanting to take his ball and run home. So people don't always see things the way you do, get over it already - what are you like 16 years old. If you don't like it - then just ignore it. You sir act exactly like what you accuse others of being. Nebraska has THE most controversial college football coach in America right now. You couldn't even defend the coach, instead, you resorted to name calling. People vent here and if you really can't take it then go to a flower growing forum or something. Our fan-base is split right down the middle as to whether they should fire Bo, yet you think everyone should think the same way you do. It doesn't work that way in the real world ~

What I find absolutely ridiculous is the vindication the Bo supporters have received from Eichorst's statement of support. Just exactly what does this mean? A guy with absolute no loyalty to any program he has worked for in the past, no significant accomplishments and no ties to our program allows our football team to languish in uncertainty for weeks finally comes ou and gives a non-committal statement of support and suddenly everyone who speaks against blow outs, sideline temper tantrums and mediocre seasons is given a scarlet letter for their failure to support this team.

Go ahead guys and have your moment of satisfaction, you have been vindicated by an absolute nobody. He has done nothing to show if he is going to be a Devaney or a Pedey. As a matter of
fact so far his resume is a lot more similar to a Pedey than anyone with any history in this program. So go ahead puff that chest out because some Wisconsin alum with a couple years as AD at a program that went 6-6 and 7-5 during his tenure agrees with you.

Puff it up guys, Puff it up.

Man the fuck up and get on with your life. Either support the team/coach/program or get the fuck out. I'm sure there is a band wagon you jump on and ride until they have a few problems.
-------
I was steadfast in my loyalty during the lean years when Devaney was head coach (two 6-4 years & no bowl games). I was steadfast in my loyalty with Osborne when his first 8 years never produced a "W" against Oklahoma. Never once did I expect something like a national championship. So don't go there.

I'm no fairweather/bandwagon fan, but I can smell shit when it's happening. Bo is not nor will he ever be the coach to turn this program back to where it should be. I get it some of you clowns are peachy keen happy with 9 stinking wins a year. Yet when you are playing at least a 12 game schedule what you fail to recognize is that thos 9 wins won't get us rankings of significance, major bowl games, major wins against great teams, and therefore seldom decent recruiting classes.

I will continue to support the school and it's football team, BUT anyone that wants to support a hot headed whiny egotistical HC go for it. After nest years schedule (where we're going to be rebuiliding the offense next) don't expect any more wins than we are seeing now. Pelini just doesn't know how to get us over that 9 win hump. Far too many of the same problems year after year after year.

BTW, this doesn't need to be a fun board it needs to be a truthful one and apparently you can't handle the truth.

I find it so funny that certain coaches can come in to a program and succeed right away. If that happens then there are 2 excuses.

1. He is a great coach to come in and succeed right away.

2. He is only doing good with the others guy's players.

The funny part is that the coach could have 1 excuse put on him and then have it quickly changed to the other.

Actually Osborne beat Oklahoma in 1978, so his 6th year. Other than that, thumbs up to your post.

I'm old too, but not old enough to remember Devaney's difficult years building a program from scratch. I started understanding and following Nebraska football in 1970 at the age of 8.

Here's the thing. I support the team and will always root for them. I understand the supporters and Eichorst being afraid of change. However I'm not going to look past Bo's toxic attitude toward fans, media, and officials. Nor am I going to look past unorganized fundamental team play, his average of 4 loss seasons,, double digit blowout losses, and his 4-18 record against opponents with 9 wins or more. I have higher expectations for Nebraska football than that and will continue to voice my concerns about it.

While we are talking in hypotheticals, what would have happened if the strap from Bo's hat hit and put out the refs eyeball? I am more fed up with Bo's antics (which keep getting worse) then the fact that he can't seem to put all the pieces on offense and defense together at the same time - even after 6 years. I want the team to succeed with or without Bo, but I (like many of us) hate being the joke of college football because of the coach's tantrums. From now on I will try to be all rainbows, lollipops, and sunshine just so I don't hurt the Bolievers feelings - but I can't lie, it will be the hardest thing I've ever done...

And it will only get worse. He knows now that Eichorst does not want to mess with the process of replacing him so he owns him.

Just like he has treated the fans and media like shit up until the point that he thought his Osborne safety net was removed, he now knows that he is just as secure in his job as before if not more so so the antics will only increase.

F Bomb tyrades are apologized for and less than a month later he is taking swings at referees and cussing the press out in his post game.

Yeah things are going to get better around here, as long as everybody makes the spoiled kid happy he won't kick and scream.
