Yeah I'm on HEVT. It was my senior design project. I am in the video twice. First is at 0:32 when we are running in and I am in dark glasses and black hair. Then at 0:45 in the blue shirt.

The competition is EcoCAR2. Its a three year competition and the first year is a design year. The idea is we create a design to fit a current platform (this time its a chevy malibu) that reduces petroleum energy use and emissions, while maintaining safety, consumer acceptability and performance. Some of my counterparts are actually in LA now for the final stage of this years competition (mostly presentations since there was no car for this year.) We're in second and only a few points out of first place. Too bad I could not go.

I really didn't do anything cool sounding as this year was a design year only. We actually get the car during the summer and next years team is going to start implementing our design.
