Range is the big issue, especially towing range. If you are using it for a work around town , not a problem. If you are using it for long distance, than you need to plan your charging. And have a backup plan because some charging locations don’t always work well.
When you add in towing it gets worse. Towing a camper or a boat is going to cut your range by half.
All true enough. These are basically 1st gen EV pick-up trucks. It won't be all that long where they surpass ice/diesel trucks in most if not all metrics

Is anyone concerned about the increased weight of electric vehicles? The Hummer's batteries weigh 2,900 lbs. Batteries in the average car add 1,000 to 2,000 lbs. Tire wear increases 20%. Insurance rates are up because that extra weight means more damage to anything or anyone the EV hits.

… the extra weight the Hummer has that causes more damage to anything or anyone it hits is its biggest selling point

Yes, it's been brought up by those who are looking for any excuse to put down EVs.

I don't mean to put down EVs; I like them but I may buy a new 4-wheel drive P/U, maybe even a new vette, and I prefer gas since I'm a real old man. :suds:
that's fine...it's clear that EVs aren't for everyone.

it just gets annoying when people keep seeking out excuses for not wanting to buy one.

it's totally your prerogative.

They don't work as well and the infrastructure is undeveloped.

You love EV propaganda and you hate EV realists, but not everyone is a sucker like you.
