Range is the big issue, especially towing range. If you are using it for a work around town , not a problem. If you are using it for long distance, than you need to plan your charging. And have a backup plan because some charging locations don’t always work well.
When you add in towing it gets worse. Towing a camper or a boat is going to cut your range by half.

All true enough. These are basically 1st gen EV pick-up trucks. It won't be all that long where they surpass ice/diesel trucks in most if not all metrics

I don't mean to put down EVs; I like them but I may buy a new 4-wheel drive P/U, maybe even a new vette, and I prefer gas since I'm a real old man.
