It's gotta be tough hanging on around hard corners in those flat seats.

Would rather buy a 67 fastback and build it myself. Then I could address stuff like JtG said and add some batting to the seats.

of course it would take me 10 years to do so :L

Awesome car, but I still prefer the '66 GT350 styling more than the longer '67

me too. Was advised to wait for certain parts of my interior before continuing wiring. Those interior kits are crazy expensive.

LOL. I saw a roller on Craigslist the other day. All the body work done. Needs interior/engine/tranny/paint....that yours?

^ We need to make-up some sad-ass sob story on your behalf and send the car to Chip Foose to finish on his show.

Let's just say your girlfriend broke up with you because of a tiny peener...and so you cut it off and threw it in the bin. Now, you need a car so hot you can get chicks with no wang.

I like the '67/'68 styling more, but the only big block option(until '68 1/2) was the 390.. That thing was a boat anchor...at best.

The last three Aggie games cause a major relapse of BAS and made him lose all hope of finishing anything...Please help Fordman, Foose!

I like the 67-68 and the 69-70. After that I'm not a fan until the mid 80's. But I'm pretty rare myself for liking the fox bodies. Even the Mach 1's look like giant boats to me. although I kind of like the Grande...

The '69/'70 Mach 1's were nice. They were the same size as all the other fastback styles. Not sure what you meant by, they look like boats.
After '71 they all went downhill, until about '99.
From '68 1/2 to '71 it would be tough for me to pick a favorite..I like all those styles, and they're fast as hell when ordered right..

Yeah, I like the 1970 best.

1970 Ford Mustang Mach 1 - Whiter Shade Of Stripes

After having a Lingenfelter Camaro for a short while, I've decided I need a modern car with the technology to keep it on the road if getting a really fast, torquey car. That damned Camaro would light-up the tires at 90mph. It was like it wanted to be in the ditch...had to be so careful.

If you say so....I mean, they were 4" longer and an inch and a half wider than the '69/'70 body.
At the time they thought the muscle wars would continue on past '71, so they were making room for bigger motors. In '69 they had to shoehorn that Boss 429 between the shock towers, in '71 the 429 Super Cobra Jet fit right in.

That's my favorite style. I know I'm in the minority, but when those came out and hit the streets I thought they were awesome. That one needs the louvers on the back window. They just didn't "have it" unless they did.

Not a fan, too boxy looking.

They are awesome..
And if you find a nice NOS set of louvers let me know. The aftermarket ones are junk.
