Thanks to Eifert, Dalton has the highest completion % when throwing across the middle in the NFL...I think I saw it was in the 70% range...Despite his recent bout of drops (Mostly in the Houston game) he's still a huge target, and matchup nightmare. I'm really surprised they don't split him out wide more often with AJ split opposite. Double 1, or double both and let Sanu/Jones run free on the inside. Don't double 1, and it's nearly a sure catch (you know, as long as Eifert doesn't drop it, or Green fumble it).

hopefully it was just a mental glich. he seems more comfortable when he knows the ball is 'probably' coming to him, like in the end zone or a screen. between the 20's is when he seems to act surprised or seems like he's not concentrating on the ball enough to catch something not thrown directly at his breastbone.
