I don't want to jinx Steve, but he has yet to give up more than three goals in a game this season as I just stated in another thread and the Oilers give up very close to four per game, so I actually like our chances here.

I hate to make these predictions but I might as well just let it fly for a change. The Flyers win 5-2 and chase whichever scrub starts in net for the Oilers.

I got nabbed for my rejected inspection sticker and loud exhaust this morning on the way home from work. The cop was just returning to his vehicle alongside the road after having fucked up someone else's day and along I came at the worst possible time. Fuck Virginia and their motor vehicle laws!!!!

That said, I've made my prediction and I'm sticking to it.

Anyone who thinks our team defense is bad need look no further than the Oilers. My God, they're terrible defensively. This is why I'd kindly say no to acquiring any of their offensive forwards (because they don't defend). Coburn rang one off iron and we had a two on one that nearly clicked as well. It could easily be 4-0 Flyers through one period.

That said, 2-0 is a great start and a ginormous lead as far as Mason is concerned.

It's a shame. It could be 6-1 Flyers. We've had more scoring chances in the first two periods tonight than probably the last three games combined. The Oilers are just dreadful defensively, but Dubnyk has actually been decent for a change including robbing Giroux on what should've been his first of the season.

I hope we keep plugging offensively in the third because there are a lot of goals to be had.
