You were saying?
Let's not lose sight of the fact that this guy beat out Wes Welker for a starting spot last season and was the Patriots' best deep threat until he got hurt.
I believe Wes got himself benched more than Edelman straight up beat him out. Again, I like Edelman. But if he is our go to guy in the playoffs, we don't have a flexible enough attack to beat the best the league has to offer.

Let's face the obvious here people. Our slot receivers have such huge success because our offense is geared toward targeting them, why cause Brady does not throw the deep ball near as well as he does that short intermediate middle of the field pass. The Pats offense loves to make smaller quicker guys be covered by bigger slower LBs. Wes is better than Edelman of that their is no doubt, benhings last year was more about BB being a bitch because Wes would not sign for less. BB is god damn crybaby when he does not get his way, and typically cuts off his nose to spite his face.
I agree with you. If Edelman is your go to guy you guys aren't going far. Your young receivers and Gronk have to carry the load. That being said, I would take the little guy on my team right now.

The patriots offense is geared to that because that is the weaponry we have. When we had randy moss, we had one of the best vertical attacks ever. Brady can throw a deep ball just fine.
Also, I have no issue with enforcing your will. He is in charge and decides what is best for the team. If you can't buy in to that, we don't need you.
There was no even "very good" deep threat available. This is why we didn't sign one, not because Brady can't throw it deep.
Demanding that players do what is best for the team is not being a "spoiled little bitch". It is and always has been the way Belichick has run this team, and it is the way the vast majority of successful coaches have run their team. Championship teams don't let players put themselves above the team. That is never acceptable.
Who should we have gotten?
And damn right. Every time.

Hey yesterday 2007 called asking you stop living in the past. If you think Brady's arm is the same it was six years ago you are sadly mistaken. But you are right about the offense being geared toward the players we have, but riddle me this Boy Wonder what offense isn't? Why do think the Pats actively pursued Amendola? Because he is some great edge receiver? No he is a short middle of the field guy to support what Tom does best now.
So you are okay with our coach acting like a spoiled little bitch!! Got it I'll remember that for future BB debates, conversations and comments.
