There is no such thing as a GOOD LOSS honestly.
It is a good way to spin things (we all are guilty).....but the downsides outweigh the upsides a lot.

Lebron does not want to rack another 45 minutes on his 32 year old body again.
He would rather be resting up for the Finals. He isnt young anymore.

Injuries are out of control this post-season. No team wants to expose their players to more games.

Golden state is going to do everything possible to sweep out the Spurs (down 3 of their top 6 players).
I dont think the Warriors will fuck around versus a wounded team.
They will be razor focused.

Gotta give credit to Celtics they changed something up and Lebron I havent seen him that confused on the defensive gamplan scoring wise in awhile. He had scored 30 points or more in every game this postseason, I am glad he got his bad game out of his system. I expect adjustments to be made and they should come out strong in Game 4

In a way, I think in the long-term this helps them. I hate when they are unbeaten and think they are invincible. I am not worried about the series but experiencing a loss should be good for them. I didnt expect them to lose but I never imagined a sweep at the start of the series so...

For the most part I agree with this.
I think even a hard fought win would have served as the same type of wake up call.
Kind of like Warriors game 1 vs Spurs.

That would have been the best thing, a close lose. They probably got a little cocky and of course the C's played pretty well. Still I hate when your team gets "too much confidence" sometimes it is better for the overall good of the team to lose

Yeah Cleveland is fine though. They may regret this though if Boston find a way to win another game which mean they'll still be playing on Saturday while the Warriors will be off after tomorrow.

As a loyal Celtics fan, I can tell you that there is 0.0% chance Marcus Smart shoots like that from 3 again this series.

Just read Cavs shot 24 more FT's (36-12)and still lost.
That's crazy.
