Series Thread: ECF: Boston Celtics vs Cleveland Cavs

I agree about everything except your last sentence but yeah if Boston win game one then they put a lot of pressure on Cleveland to win game 2 if the Cavs really want to turn this into a semi short series. Winning 4 straight after going down 0-2 is pretty difficult

One thing i notice about this Cavs team is that there is no let up, like in past seasons

In the past, I could see them steal Game one on the road, and sorta treat Game 2 as a bonus

This year, they seem to be determined to win every game, so IMO if they take Game one, they may just be on a mission to dominate until the finals

With IT's size - once the trap comes- he better A. better give up the ball quick, or B. attack it and split it right away---- because if he doesnt- hes gonna have a hard time getting the ball to the open guy- with his size, and with LBJ playing an Ed-Reed-like free safety.

They wont be able to guard IT with Kyrie for heavy minutes. They will need to double and trap at times too, as Chicago and Wiz did these series. Cant let IT take this series over

They might double him but I doubt it. Let him go wild and lockdown everyone else. Kyrie did a pretty good job on Curry last year and Curry is much better than IT. He is only shootng 34% on 3's, he can heat up though.

Don't sleep on Boston. I know it is extremely unlikely but man if they're able to hold serve these first 2 games in the Garden then that changes everything.

Most certainly, and if that happens then all bets are off...but this inevitable feeling of GS/Cle has put a damper on things, until we actually see one of em in trouble

My point is, Celtics can make it semi-interesting with a Game one win, prob their best chance at a win
Or Cleveland takes Game one, this series goes 4 games IMO

It was interesting the Cavs started strong vs. Raptors after their layoff. I find it interesting that the Cavs have not even been scrimmaging. (to prevent injuries) I don't know how they stay sharp without scrimmaging.

A quick walkover by the Cavs. Celtics have no great player. While the Wizards lacked in depth they still had Wall/Beal who are better than ANY player on the Celtics.

Celtics don't have any go to scorer who is reliable. Cavs will walk into Boston and still the first two games. And probably close it on Cleveland with a sweep. Or win in 5 max.

Celtics wouldn't even of gotten by the bulls if Rondo didn't go down. Like I said before, PAPER #1s.

The fact, they have HCA means nothing as the Cavs will take it from them in Game 1

Did IT get traded overnight? I just read that the Celtics does not have a scorer that is reliable. Last I checked he avg 29 PPG and was one of the best 4th quarter players in the league
