Nah, Wiggy did have a point that there's never been 3 repeated Finals matchups ever (this will be the first). Something always happens, usually an injury. Sometimes upsets happen too, like the 1986 Rockets somehow getting to the finals over Showtime

Yep it is sad. I don't care for Hockey but it is very nice in a sport where half of the league makes the playoffs, we have lower seeds making deep runs all the time.

I believe this is the 4th straight year it is 1 vs 2 in the ECF

It just is what it is, in basketball the high scoring means the better teams have more chances to assert dominance. In hockey the low scores means upsets are easier. In baseball it's almost random. Football is single elimination so like the NCAA upsets happen.

Some would say it's better that the best team gets the ring. In baseball for example you play all year, dominate the league, and get lucked out of the first round.

Yep it is the only thing that can save the playoffs. Just like how the NFL playoffs was trash but the thrilling superbowl made up for the first 3 rounds

It would probably have to take an injury to a key guy. (Doubtful though as Superstars are learning to Jerk off towards the end of the season not take it seriously the last few months of the year. Cavs/Warriors know they can just flip the switch whenever they want) . The only way I see this ending is if there is colluding of top stars. Taking salary cuts and forming super teams.

The League is so far behind the Cavs/Warriors it isn't funny. And both teams are in their primes. None of the top players will be dealing for at least another 3 years.

The East hasn't been good in years, and doesn't seem to be getting any better. I didn't see any improvement in the EC this year. Did you?

.... Or unless the Spurs get another superstar. Maybe they can stop this

Yep but this is as bad as it has been in forever. Previously we would have 4-5 teams or so that can win the title yearly. Even last year wasn't as bad because in the West, I think most would not have been surprised if OKC or SAS made the finals but this year, everyone knew since July that we were getting Warriors vs Cavs.

Lebron going to Miami basically killed the east then leaving Miami for Cleveland, he killed the east once again lol.
