Series Thread: Eastern Conference Finals: Tampa Bay Lightning vs Pittsburgh Penguins

How do you guys see this series playing out? I haven't watched enough TB games to know what to expect but I was under the impression the Caps were the toughest matchup in the East for the Pens? Seems like most articles I read think the Bolts will be a tougher test for the Pens but I have no shame in saying I don't really know what to expect and I don't want to base my opinion on a couple articles.

Thoughts?

Expect us to face our mirror images. They're a bit more physical, we're a bit deeper. We got Kessel/Bonino/Hagelin, they got Kucherov/Johnson/Palat. We got Letang, they got Hedman. We got Murray, they got Bishop. Hopefully Sid & Geno will make the difference, especially if Stamkos makes a return during the series.

A lot of times, a series is all about tempo (e.g., we really dictated a fast paced tempo in the previous series against the Capitals), but with these teams playing such similar playing styles, this series will be purely about execution & luck. Who gets the bounces, and who could make the best of the bounces. This is why the Lightning will be our greatest task thus far, it will be like going up against ourselves.
