Unfortunately back in the 90's had to spend some time in the state of Indiana, work related. Indianapolis, Deer Born and Carmel.

I found out back then I got very little in common with...well seemingly anything about the state.

I still don't know what da fuck a Hoosier is. And oddly enough nobody that I talked to seemed to know either.

The closest thing I got to an answer was a Hoosier is what everyone wants to be. That was total bullshit back then and it's still total bullshit today.

Well my personal gauge for that state has always been, if it's north of Indianapolis...no problem....and if it's south of it...no thanks.
FTR: Same goes for Ohio regarding north & south of Columbus.
Just way too rednecky in the southern parts of those 2 states.

You're spot-on about N and S of Columbus. There's a reason most of the state is very red. About the only part that isn't is where I'm from, NE Ohio.

But in the 20 years since I got outta Ohio that might have changed.
