just curious if anyone out there still thinks Love will be dealt if the Cavs lose the Finals. I would say there is between no chance and zero chance hes dealt at this point.

i think anyone who has been paying attention would agree that firing Blatt and promoting Lue was the right move. You have to give Griffin credit for such a ballsy move. He stuck his neck out but knew what was the right thing to do.

the thing is- Griffin did not HAVE to make the move. He could have kept Blatt around as a scapegoat and fired him in the offseason if the Cavs dont/didnt win the title.

Instead- Griffin stuck HIS OWN NECK out there by firing a coach in 1st in the conference that led his team to the Finals the previous year. He did it because he knew it was the right move. You gotta give a guy credit for that. If it blew up in his face it would be him facing the axe.

No reason to believe Griffin doesn't know better than me or anyone else what the right move is/was. The Cavs got better since Blatt got canned so cant argue it wasn't the right decision.

I think it depends on how he performs. If he's getting pulled in 4th quarters, not shooting well, etc. I think the Cavs will look to move him. The question will be what they can get for him.

The Pelicans tried to make the swap at the Deadline.

But, the Cavs declined when they traded for Frye.

If they wish it, the Cavs could easily find a Team to take his deal.

Dallas, Houston, Boston, Knicks, Suns...

But, the Pelicans are the only one that can send back value, outside of a draft pick.

Unless the Cavs wanted Dwight Howard.
