Now that most the major players have been taken in the transfer portal and at national signing day, what do you think the top 25 will look like next year? Obviously, we still have about 2 weeks till everyone has to declare for the draft, so things may change a bit. Here is what I've seen so far, and I think a few may be too highly ranked on this list (unfortunately one of them is Michigan).

wow the sec bias continues. i know its just someones opinion of what will happen but alabama and georgia at 1 &2 is a slap in the face to the 2 teams that made the final. Washington at 16 potentially being the champion is ridiculous.

Do you ever stop?

Where is the fake outrage for tennessee? Iowa was ranked 20th and tennessee obliterated them 35-0!

What a slap in the face to rank iowa in front of tennessee.

I am irate...lol

7 big 10 teams and 7 sec teams....where is the bias again?

the bias is clearly the top 2 teams that arent in the championship game. id be fine with iowa not being ranked. put tennessee in their spot at 20. put michigan and washington in the top 2 and not a problem. stop gifting the sec rankings they dont deserve

So maybe their top recruiting classes and transfers coming in had something to do with it?

News flash...nobody but you cares about it. You have a hair trigger with the sec.

Pennix is gone, so that knocks them out of the top 2 obviously.

Yout whole posting existence is based on trolling and bashing the sec. Everybody isn't tired of it. Your thread got bumped and you got banned. Notice a pattern here?

That is just lame.

I don’t necessarily see it that way. Washington is going to lose the best player it has seen arguably in program history (at least the best over the past few decades). We’ll see if Michigan can keep JJ, but they too could lose over a dozen key players next year. On top of that, if Harbaugh leaves, they could experience a mass exodus.

I’m a Michigan fan and I think Michigan at #3 is likely overrated for next season. I hope I’m wrong.

Belcherboy

You now have a new Big 10 fan...trojanfight.
He claims to be a usc fan and makes a living out of trolling sec teams and fans.

He claims he has done it for 10 years actually. Strange as that sounds. He is allegedly attempting to unmask the sec media.

He now is a big 10 fan and has added pac 12 bowl wins to the big 10 total. To troll the sec, he is now claiming the Texas and oklahoma losses are sec losses. Not sure any other college football fan sees or that way at all.

He singles out a few sec posters a tries to start a war between sec fans and other conferences. His entire purpose is to irritate and antagonize others. Nearly every post is a jab at the sec. He will hate the sec more than he supports usc and the big 10.

He will literally attempt to revive posts from 13 years ago in attempts to mock the sec. He isn't interested in productive conversation and will ignore facts in order to throw shade at any an all things sec.

He was recently banned for creating alt usernames that he used to troll again. When caught, he lied about that as well.

He is a handful and will flood your board with anti sec trash and try to loop you in to the crusade. Good luck with him!

He is one of a kind!

UGA won a Natty and wasn't ranked #1 the following preseason.

Might have something to do with Washington losing 98% of its offensive production.

oh yeah that could be. Washington already has its 2024 transfer qb in will rogers. hes not penix by any means but should be decent. i would have to go back year by year in the records but im fairly certain a potential defending champion has never dropped as far as washington is projected. Georgia i also losing 31 players to the draft/transfer portal.

It could be just like TCU last season. They were the runner up and I think they started the season last year around #15. Although I could be wrong there.

It makes sense if you lose key players all over the field and don’t have multiple recruiting classes like Georgia has.

Brett McMurphy Top 25

For those of you that don't like links:
1. Georgia
2. Michigan
3. Oregon
4. Alabama
5. Ohio State
6. Texas
7. Notre Dame
8. Arizona
9. Ole Miss
10. Missouri
11. Penn State
12. Kansas State
13. Oklahoma
14. LSU
15. Oklahoma State
16. Washington
17. Tennessee
18. Clemson
19. Utah
20. Florida State
21. USC
22. Miami Fl
23. Kansas
24. NC State
25. West Virginia

If these were the final rankings, this is how the CFP would look:

1. Georgia - Projected SEC Champion
2. Michigan - Projected Big Ten Champion
3. Arizona - Projected Big 12 Champion
4. Clemson - Projected ACC Champion

5. Oregon - At Large #1
6. Alabama - At Large #2
7. Ohio State - At Large #3
8. Texas - At Large #4
9. Notre Dame - At Large #5
10. Ole Miss - At Large #6
11. Missouri - At Large #7
12. Highest Ranked G5 Champion

ESPN would cream their pants at the sight of that Texas/ND playoff game. If this is how it plays out, all the at large bids would go to the SEC, Big Ten and Notre Dame. I think that's going to be a common occurrence with an occasional exception.

Unless there is some significant injuries, I just don't see how it doesn't come down to Georgia and Ohio. I don't think anyone is even close to those two, and Ohio maybe to a step or two above Georgia...especially if Chip Kelly shows out next year. Ohio is likely to walk away with a national title next season, maybe winning it by double digits.
