He isn't what he used to be for sure but he was still an above average tackle. If he can be a good enough guard to not be a liability then that will be what we need.


I'm more worried about Dillard at LT than I am Peterd at RG.

He hasn't played any guard but I don't think he will have much issue transitioning. He isn't as athletic at tackle anymore but he should still be plenty athletic to play guard in the Eagles scheme of pulling guards to the second level for screens.

It shouldn't be first nor second, guy is a two time first team All Pro, and it's like in the early 2000s, when you had elite LTs to compete with honors like Pace, Jones, Boselli, Ogden, Roaf had to. Competing with those guys he wouldn't get one first team All Pro, let alone 2.
